Chocolate covered strawberries always seem so special to me, and yet, they are so quick and easy to make. Add them to a Valentine’s Day dessert platter, use them as garnish on top of a cake or cupcakes, or serve on their own with some champagne for a special evening for two.
These chocolate-dipped strawberries aren’t just for Valentine’s Day. They are perfect for date night, engagement parties, weddings, bridal showers, anniversary celebrations, and pretty much any other occasion you want to use them for.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Prep time: 5-10 minutes
Cool time: 30 minutes+
Ingredients:

- 1 lbs. fresh ripe strawberries
- 5 oz chocolate chips (use vegan if preferred)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- Sprinkles or nuts, if desired

Instructions:

Melt the chocolate chips and the coconut oil in the microwave for about 2 minutes or until melted. Whisk together until well combined.

Dip each strawberry in the melted chocolate, making sure to keep the green stems clean.

Let them rest on a wired tray with parchment paper to catch the dripping chocolate.

Put them in the fridge to let the chocolate harden for at least 30 minutes.

Once the chocolate has hardened, keep them refrigerated until ready to serve.
