Gung Hay Fat Choy – Happy Chinese New Year!

Are you celebrating the Chinese New Year this weekend?  I was born in the year of the OX which is supposed to signify that I am honest, unyielding, stubborn,a  natural-born leader, patient, inspiring, easy-going and conservative. It’s funny because I was voted by my SoFab family as being extremely patient so I guess that one’s true.  I’m very easy going and I’d like to think I’m inspiring. I can be stubborn and I’m a pretty honest person but I’m not terribly conservative though!

Sam was born in the year of the dragon.  Dragons are said to have great courage, tenacity and intelligence.  They are  enthusiastic and confident,  not afraid of challenges, and willing to take risks.   They can sometimes be seen as aggressive and arrogant and not very open to criticism.

Mr. Anderson was born in the year of the snake.   Snakes have a good temperament and are skilled at communicating but say very little. They have high morals, are usually financially secure, are very sympathetic to others and want very much to help others.   They have a calm disposition but below the surface, they are intense and passionate.  Snakes are likely to be jealous and suspicious.  They are polite but can be very headstrong.

What about you?  What Chinese astrological sign were you born under? Can you see yourself in any of those traits?

  1. Well, Mine is water pig which means I am a very caring and loveable person and I go out of my way to help even strangers. And I would say it’s true to a great extent. However, sometimes I get mood wings and prefer to be lonely at such times.
