This Ritz Reindeer Snack is a fun and festive treat to have during the holidays. More nutritious than many Christmas goodies, this is a great one to serve at home or in a group setting. Instead of peanut butter, you can substitute other nut butters or Wow sunflower seed butter.
Instead of just serving this as a snack, turn this into a group activity by letting the kids make their own. We’ve got a few simple tips to help make that easier.
Ritz Reindeer Snack
Supplies:
Ritz crackers (or any butter/round crackers)
Pretzel twists
Small candy eyes
Chocolate chips
Peanut butter
Red candies (I used fruity TicTacs for this, but you could use M&Ms)
Plastic knife and small container (sauce containers work great for this activity) – if you’re doing this as an activity with kids this will make it easier
Directions:
Fill the small container with peanut butter.
Spread a thin layer of peanut butter on a cracker. Repeat this step for the desired number of reindeer that you want to make.
Add two candy eyes to each cracker.
Add the chocolate chip (or red candy) for a nose.
Then, add two pretzel twists at the top for the antler. Repeat this step to complete the desired amount of reindeer.
Enjoy your festive treats!
