We are big Hocus Pocus fans around here! We’ve seen the first movie way too many times to count (watching it multiple times every Halloween season) and it won’t take long for Hocus Pocus 2 to reach that same level. So we just love these Hocus Pocus Life Potion Cookies!

They’re really simple to make and they’ll be out of the oven in less than half an hour. Make them as an after school treat or for a Halloween party. Even if you aren’t Hocus Pocus fans like we are, these are just fun Halloween-themed cookies anyone would love.

Serves: 20 to 24 depending on ball size
Prep: 15 Minutes
Bake: 9 Minutes

Ingredients:

15.25 oz white Cake Mix (1 box)
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup white chocolate chips
2 drops green food gel
candy eye sprinkles

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine the cake mix and baking powder.

In a bowl of the stand mixer (or large bowl with hand mixer) mix the eggs, oil, and vanilla together.

Mix the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Drop in green food gel. Mix well. Stir in the white chocolate chips.

Using a 1 tablespoon scoop, drop rounded balls of the dough onto your baking sheet. Bake for 9 minutes. Do not let them brown in the oven. They will firm up when cooled.

Place the candy eyes on top once you remove them from the oven. Careful they’re hot!

Remove to a cooling rack. Store in an airtight container.
