Ingredients

  • 8oz Ounces Fresh Mozzarella Cheese (Sliced)
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • Basil Leaves
  • Balsamic Glaze
  • Crackers

You can make your own balsamic glaze if you prefer. Pour 2 cups of balsamic vinegar into a saucepan and heat it up over medium heat. When it starts to bubble, turn the heat down to low. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes to reduce it down. You should end up with about 1/2 cup once you’re finished. Let cool before using.

Instructions

Slice the tomatoes.

Start at the top end of the candy cane shape and create the candy cane stripes by alternating a slice of mozzarella with a slice of tomato until you get a big candy cane shape.

Place fresh basil leaves around the candy cane

Serve with balsamic and crackers.
