Apple Brie Crostini Appetizer
Prep: 10 minutes| Cook Time: 7 minutes | Total Time: 17 minutes
Servings: Appetizer portions for 8 – 12 people
Ingredients:
1 long baguette (about 10 oz)
2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
8 oz Brie
½ cup apricot jam
½ cup arugula
3 oz Prosciutto
Balsamic glaze
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Cut the baguette diagonally into half inch slices and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes.
While the bread is in the oven, cut the brie into ¼ inch thick slices and thinly slice the apples. Cut each piece of prosciutto vertically into thirds and roll into a tiny looking log.
Remove the bread and spread ½ Tbsp apricot jam on each slice. Then add an apple slice and piece of brie to each. Place back into the oven for 2 minutes.
Once removed, top each slice of bread with a few pieces of arugula and 1 log of rolled prosciutto. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and enjoy immediately.
Tip: For best taste, make these right before guests arrive so the brie is still warm and delicious!
